I heard a guy speak some years back about following your conscious. What really stuck out to me was that your conscious, those conclusions that your mind has drawn based on all of the information you’ve supplied it with, are what your subconscious uses to lead you through life. He went on to break down the difference between a clean conscious that could and should be followed and one that was clouded and not worthy of being followed. It was a tedious undertaking on his part; but the wisdom he shared regarding a clouded conscious bears sharing and since his wisdom has long endured with me, I’d like to the best of my ability to share the highlights with you.
We come into this world being bombarded with information. And we spend so much of our time watching movies and reading magazines that we fill our minds and our hearts with all kinds of information without censure. Our mind and our heart has to process all of that information, and believe it or not…it draws conclusions. In fact, many of the conclusions that your subconscious mind has come to, you don’t even realize. When you continue to digest negative, false, or derogatory information over and over, it creates a figurative scar in your reasoning because the human heart was not created to digest negativity, lawlessness or out right rebellion. And if you’re honest you will agree that these are the basic characteristics of this present generation.
There is no way to deposit negativity in and get positivity out. There is no way for you to practice only rebellion and learn obedience. There is no way to study lawlessness—and that is what you are doing when you watch movies, read books, or hold conversations that glorify depraved, deviate behavior—and develop a healthy conscious.
P.S. Your subconscious makes the majority of your decisions, where is it leading you?
